Synapse: A Point of Contact where Information & Energy are Exchanged

From 1982 until 2007, Synapse was the publication of Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU), the youth organization of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

For many years, it was published three times each year. After a series of budget cuts in 2005, this changed to two online issues, compiled into a single print issue.

Each issue contained articles, essays, poetry, and artwork by YRUUers across the continent! Also enclosed were updates and information about leadership and job opportunities, continental YRUU conferences, and what's was going on with the governance of YRUU.

In 2007, the Office of Youth Ministries explained their decision to change the format of their publication in order to be more relevant to more people, and to better utilize staff resources.  This new publication will begin in the winter of 2007-2008.

The entire Synapse archives are available online. Some issues are in PDF form only, while others are available both online as as PDF.

Additionally, we are excited to be able to present the full archive of People SoupPeople Soup was the newsletter of Liberal Religious Youth (LRY), the youth organization which preceeded YRUU.  This archive is available as PDFs only.
