How Your Gift Helps
Friends of the UUA funds are invested where they will meet our greatest needs and are the most fruitful in supporting- Programs and services that help congregations grow and thrive.
- Youth and young adult programs that provide resources to a new generation of Unitarian Universalists.
- Social Action and Public Witness that bring the voice of UU values to our wider society and the issues of our times.
- Beacon Press and its ongoing mission to produce thought provoking titles that allow progressive voices to be heard.
Annual Program Fund is significant financial support for the Unitarian Universalist movement which comes directly from our member congregations. Congregational contributions to the Unitarian Universalist Association Annual Program Fund (APF) provide approximately 37-39% of the Association’s income.
These contributions fund Association programs, services and resources that directly benefit and strengthen the congregations themselves and Unitarian Universalism as a whole. By joining together, we can create religious education curricula and social justice programs. We can also provide support for ministry, growth, extension and outreach. Each independent congregation has the opportunity as a group to help fund the work of the Association and to be part of an interdependent religious community.
