Annual Program Fund Committee
The Annual Program Fund (APF) Committee was established in 1976 to promote annual financial support for the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and is an appointed committee of the UUA Board of Trustees. The Committee:
- Works closely with the APF Director to plan and implement APF activity in the districts.
- Meets twice a year to develop stewardship strategies, receive training and become more informed about the UUA. Other training and strategy meetings may also be scheduled.
- Encourages congregations to include their minimum requested contribution (Fair Share) as a line item in their budgets and make monthly payments.
- Acts as a liaison between the UUA and member congregations, answering questions about the APF and the UUA, informing congregations of UUA services and resources and assuring them of the UUA's financial accountability by providing information about programs and expenditures.
