General Assembly
Each meeting of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) for the conduct of business shall be called a General Assembly (GA). General Assemblies shall make overall policy for carrying out the purposes of the Association and shall direct and control its affairs.
Voting at each regular and special General Assembly shall be by accredited delegates from certified member congregations, certified associate member organizations, and trustees.
The Business of the Association
Annual Reports from Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Officers, Committees, Staff, and Associate Member Organizations are published each year, along with reports and streaming video from the Plenaries (business sessions) of the General Assembly.
UUA Statements of Conscience
The purpose of the Congregational Study/Action Process is to provide the member congregations of the Association with an opportunity to mobilize energy, ideas, and resources around a common issue. The end result will be a deeper understanding of our religious position on the issue, a clear statement of Association policy as expressed in a Statement of Conscience, and a greater capacity for the congregations to take effective action.
