Board-Appointed Committees
NEW! The Committee on Committees of the UUA Board of Trustees is accepting applications for a vacancy on the Journey Toward Wholeness Transformation Committee to fill out the remainder of a term until December 31, 2009. The appointee would be eligible for re-appointment to three more 2-year terms. Since 1997, JTWTC has worked to monitor and assess our transformation as an anti-racist, anti-oppressions, multi-cultural institution. In 2007, accessibility concerns were specifically added to the committee’s portfolio.
Members of UUA Committees must be able to demonstrate functional competency in anti-racism, anti-oppression, and multiculturalism. Travel and other meeting expenses are covered, per established guidelines.
The deadline for applications is January 5, 2009.

NEW! The Committee on Committees of the UUA Board of Trustees is accepting applications for a ministerial appointment to the New England Regional Subcommittee on Candidacy* to fill out the remainder of a term until December 31, 2009. The appointee would be eligible for re-appointment to three more 2-year terms. Ministerial members of RSCC’s must be in full fellowship with the UUA. Ministers who attained fellowship in the past five years are especially encouraged to apply. Members of UUA Committees must be able to demonstrate functional competency in anti-racism, anti-oppression, and multiculturalism. Travel and other meeting expenses are covered, per established guidelines.
The deadline for applications is December 17, 2008. It is expected that the Board will make an appointment at the January Board meeting.
*Note: The New England RSCC includes these districts: Mass Bay, Ballou-Channing, Clara Barton, St. Lawrence, and Northern New England.
